Founder, Spice Route Cooking School
Spice Route Cooking School is based in the suburb of Cornubia, QLD and operated by Mrs. Rashmi Jaggi.
Rashmi was born in Agra, India (city of Taj Mahal) where she grew up observing and learning traditional Indian cooking skills from her mother and grand-mother. She experienced first-hand the magic of exotic spices and flavours and the ancient cooking methods passed through generations.
After marriage she moved to New Delhi where she started taking cookery classes from her residence. Her classes became a phenomenal success and over the course of 15 years she had taught over 3000 students from a broad range of backgrounds and varied experience levels including from countries such as Japan, Australia and the U.S.
After re-locating to Australia in 2006, with repeated requests from local friends and family, Rashmi decided to re-invigorate her passion for cooking and teaching and "Spice Route Cooking School" was born.
